April: Go Where the Light Is
As each day continues to bring news and challenges we never anticipated, we keep coming back to this idea of "go where the light is" ... it's the number one rule in photography, but it can also serve as a mantra of sorts. Find the light. Find the hope. Every day, look for beauty. Even in this. For April, our blog hop will be a photo essay documenting a day in your life, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Here are some loose guidelines: Find a series of 10-12 photos that tell a story; include a short description or quote to accompany your photo essay.
Need inspiration to get you started? Check out some of our favorite documentary photographers: Tara Whitney (see her Exhale artist interview here), Kirsten Lewis, Jenna Hobbs, and Yan Palmer.
