October: Everyday Magic
In October, we’re mixing things up with a photo essay! We know many of you are gathering your best stories for the Coffee + Crumbs submission window, so we wanted to give you a chance to participate in the blog hop and take a little break from words.
Follow your littles around with a camera to capture moments of “Everyday Magic.” Here are some loose guidelines: Find a series of 10-12 photos that tell a story; include a short description or quote to accompany your photo essay.
Need inspiration to get you started? Check out some of our favorite documentary photographers: Tara Whitney (see her Exhale artist interview here), Kirsten Lewis, Jenna Hobbs, and Yan Palmer.
Post URLS are due in Slack October 9th, and blog hop goes live on Friday, October 11th! Don’t forget to drop your link on the Friday Share Thread in our Facebook group.
New to Slack and need a tutorial? Adrienne made a brief how-to video - you can access it here.
