WHY ARE YOU EXCITED ABOUT THIS BOOK?
Elizabeth Acevedo is fierce and tender. Although labeled a Young Adult novel, The Poet X inspires me to embrace my passion for words, to tell difficult truths, and to take pride in my multifaceted identity. I can't wait to see how readers are similarly inspired by Xiomara's fearlessness.
