July: Happy Place
Our July book club is with Kim and Neidy! Join them for a fun and light conversation about Emily Henry’s Happy Place. Even if you haven’t read the book, we’d love for you to join!
About Neidy
Neidy (pronounced nay-dee) is a Latina creative with a love of Jesus, Georgia peaches, sweet tea, diversity, and cold brew coffee. She lives in Iowa with her three incredible niños and firefighter-paramedic husband. She’s a regular contributor for Well-Watered Women, and is the Exhale as the content manager as well as a contract copywriter.
About Kim
Kimberly Knowle-Zeller is a writer, pastor, wife, mother of two, and the co-author of The Beauty of Motherhood: Grace-Filled Devotions for the Early Years. She lives with her family in Cole Camp, Missouri. When she’s not at the park with her children, walking around town, or tending to the garden, you can find her with a pen and paper. Or a good book and a cup of coffee. She believes in the power of words, unearthing the extraordinary in the ordinary, and encouraging others to follow their passions.
Why are you excited about this book?
Neidy: Just like diets need moderation, my book diet was in DESPERATE need of moderation. I need a poolside read, and I'm delighted to dig into this book for that reason. Plus, I get to talk about it with Kim! :D
Kim: We could use a little fun and lightness this summer! I love Emily Henry's books— her wit, her dialogue, the characters, and the settings. We hope reading Happy Place this July helps you remember your own happy places and the people who bring you joy. We are excited to see you for our Zoom book club!
