FAQ
-
Who is Exhale for?
Exhale is for the woman who is uninspired, disconnected from her creative self, longing for something more. This program is for the woman who wants to rediscover inspiration in order to make beautiful things.
-
I'm not a writer—will I still get something from this?
YES. While we do talk a lot about writing and offer monthly writing prompts, there are plenty of other discussions, resources, and exercises that are not centered around writing.
-
I'm not a mother—Can I still join the Exhale community? Will I fit in?
YES. Living creatively doesn't always come easy, and everyone needs a boost once in a while. You do not need to be a mother to sign up, and if you enjoy the art we create at Coffee + Crumbs, we think you’ll love this space, too. We do occasionally talk about motherhood in the content, but the creativity exercises and writing prompts are not necessarily mother-centric.
-
What kind of time commitment is involved?
Exhale is 100% self-paced. Have 30 minutes a day? That's perfect. Prefer to block off a chunk of time every Saturday? That works, too! As long as you are a member, the content is not going anywhere.
-
What's the format for Exhale? How do I access the content?
Upon checking out, you’ll be prompted to set up a username and password in Memberspace. Once you have that, the whole site is available to you at any time.
-
When you say "creative exercises"—are we talking Pinterest crafts? Because I'm not crafty.
We aren't either. Rest assured: our creativity exercises are totally feasible, even for the least crafty among us.
-
Is Exhale a Christian program?
Similarly to the Coffee + Crumbs website, Exhale is not an explicitly Christian program, and we welcome women from all faith backgrounds to join us! However, many of the writers and contributors to the Exhale content do hold to the Christian faith, and you will find that influence woven throughout some of the content.

Am I required to share my work?
Nope! If you’d like to share part of your creative journey with us at any time, we’d love to see what you’re working on. We offer a Friday share thread each week in our private Facebook group to share your work. If you want to keep it all private and just for you, we wholeheartedly support that.
