Podcast: Behind the Book No. 1

In Episode 58, we’re doing a variation on our Behind the Essay series, which we know so many of you have enjoyed. In these episodes, we interview a writer about the process of writing an essay -- from idea to publication. In the coming year, we are excited to share three Behind the Book episodes, featuring three new books launching into the world by members of the C+C Team! Today, we are welcoming C+C writer, Katie Blackburn, to talk with us about the process of releasing her self-published book titled Gluing the Cracks: Reflections on Motherhood, Disability, and Hope.

Bio: Katie is an unlikely mama to six kids, a writer, a teacher, and what she hopes to be most in the world is a constant learner. She’s been writing on the Coffee + Crumbs team since its inception in 2014.

“Almost everything good is right on the other side of hard,

and the only way to get there is to go through it.” —Gluing the Cracks, Katie Blackburn
