April: Bright Dead Things

Our April book club is celebrating poetry with Lorren Lemmons and Michelle Windsor. We’ll be diving into Bright Dead Things by Ada Limon. Even if you haven’t read her poems, come and join the conversation!

About Lorren

Lorren lives in Georgia with her Army dentist husband and three children (but she is moving back to her hometown in Idaho this summer!). She is a pediatric oncology nurse turned freelance writer and editor. She is working on a book about faith and mental health. When she isn't writing, she can be found hiking, playing the harp and the piano, and wrangling children. Visit her at her website or here on IG.

About Michelle

Michelle is a full-time thinker and a part-time poet who writes about motherhood and womanhood. She is forever inspired by her two boys, her husband, and their life by the ocean. Visit her at her here on IG.

Why are you excited about this book?

Lorren: This is one of my favorite poetry books, and I can't wait to talk about it with friends! I don't have many poetry lovers in my real life, so I welcome the chance to share it with the Exhale community!
