January: The Honest Enneagram

For January Book Club, Amy Kiezebrink will lead us in a Zoom discussion on The Honest Enneagram: Know Your Type, Own Your Challenges, Embrace Your Growth by Sarajane Case. Even if you haven’t read the book, come and join us to chat about Enneagram and creativity!

About Amy.

Amy is a stay-at-home mom to three little boys (Pieter 6, William 4, & Alexander 2) and married to her high school sweetheart Pieter for almost 16 years. While a graphic designer by trade, she has always had a love for reading and writing. She started her blog after her first son was born as she felt a desperate need for a creative outlet in the midst of dirty diapers and projectile vomit. She’s never to be found without at least two books on the go and at least three unfinished writing projects. She loves creating with her boys thanks to their substantial craft supply cupboard and enjoys the outdoors and exploring with her family at their farm in Ontario, Canada. Visit her at her website Dear Son, Love Mommy or here on IG.

Why are you excited about this book?

The Honest Enneagram by Sarahjane Case was by far the best Enneagram resource I have found to date. This book gave me all the answers in my search for my Enneagram number in such a simple, straightforward, and easy-to-understand format. I first learned about the Enneagram a couple of years ago and while I have read books, articles and done the quizzes; I was never able to pin down my number—always stuck between a 1, 3, and 7, depending on my mood. This book was amazing and I was finally able to establish I was a 3 while also understanding more about the other numbers. I'm so excited to read it again and discuss it with others because, honestly, who knows what else I'll learn about myself?! New to the Enneagram? PERFECT! This book is the best place to start. Check out her website here or find her on Instagram.
