Her beautiful and heartfelt picture books explore relevant and meaningful topics like understanding race, neurodiversity, and homelessness in a way that gives language and understanding to both children and parents.
Dorena Williamson is a Preacher's Kid, First Lady, and longtime bridge-builder. In 1995 she and her husband planted multiracial Strong Tower Bible Church in Nashville. Whether it's in the Bible, in books, or on the big screen, Dorena loves the power of a good story, and she writes children's books that adults need too. She is the author of ColorFull, ThoughtFull, GraceFull, A Celebration Place, and Crowned with Glory. As a mother of four, she is passionate about planting seeds of truth for the next generation. Dorena lives with her family in Franklin, TN.
