Cultivating Creativity

In Episode 62 of the Exhale Podcast, Sonya and Adrienne interview two exhale members, Laura Bass and Laura Rennie, about cultivating their creative skills and what that looks like within Exhale’s creative community. We will learn how the resources on the website, workshops, and their relationship have enriched their creative lives and practices.

This episode also offers listeners an ‘inside look’ at what they can find in the Exhale Marketplace, specifically our workshops. You’ll hear from women who’ve taken them and who connected because of them. We wanted to share about what’s involved, what one can expect, and the tangible benefits of taking a workshop.

Bio: Laura Rennie works part time managing a travel website and writing copy for a marketing agency. She loves short stories, the show Top Chef, and the incredible feeling of finishing a crossword puzzle without having to call her mom for help. She lives in Maryland with her husband and six-year-old daughter.

Laura Bass lives in North Carolina in what she affectionately calls "a house full of boys" and spends her days working part-time in between bouncing from carpool line to carpool line, picking up the Legos covering the floor, overusing the word y’all, reading her way through stacks of library books, and scouting out the perfect coffee shops to work or write in.
